❤️🐾 Thursday Morning Update on Queen Marisol! 👑
It's been three days since Marisol's emergency spinal surgery, and I'm happy to report that my little girl is making some encouraging progress!
Since coming home Tuesday, she's started moving and repositioning both of her back legs, taking a few tentative steps in her recovery area, and even beginning to squat to go potty while I support her with a harness. She's also becoming more aware of her surroundings and figuring out how to move her little body again.
And perhaps most importantly, her bossy little personality is making a comeback! She's started barking at me, demanding attention, and generally reminding me who's actually in charge around here.
She's eating again, drinking plenty of water, and getting lots of rest.
We're still very early in her recovery, and she has several weeks of healing ahead of her. But these little milestones mean the world to me, especially after seeing her unable to use her back legs just a few days ago.
I'm cautiously optimistic and incredibly grateful for every bit of progress.
Thank you all for the love, messages, and support you've sent our way. Professor Mari is taking her recovery one day at a time, and apparently, being on bed rest doesn't mean giving up her throne. ❤️🐾👑
